To provide a winding device which can improve the quality of an obtained wound body.

A winding device includes a winding core 13 for winding a first sheet 4, a second sheet 5, and separation sheets 2 and 3 in a superposed manner. The length of each of non-lamination parts 4b and so forth on the first sheet 4 and the second sheet 5 is previously set to a dimension with an allowance. Each time the first sheet 4 and the second sheet 5 are wound around the winding core 13 by a predetermined length, end parts 4c and so forth on the winding start end sides of lamination parts 4a and so forth on the first sheet 4 and the second sheet 5 are detected by a first sensor 18 and a second sensor 19. While the end parts 4c and 5c on the winding start end sides of the lamination parts 4a and 5a are aligned with a first reference position K1 and a second reference position K2, respectively, by first feed chucks 14A and 14B and second feed chucks 15A and 15B, the first sheet 4 and the second sheet 5 are wound.
