To solve the problem that, in case an end of winding and an end of a harness are soldered together and secured on a board, strength against tensile is low and the board becomes an obstacle to reduction in number of parts, and thus, loads to significant cost reduction.
A fixing portion made of resin which individually fixes a plurality of ends of windings is formed on a specified face on the non-winding side of flange portions so formed that the flange portions are opposed to and connect to each other as both ends of substantially hollow cylinders. The fixing portion is provided with fixing holes having inside diameters such that a plurality of connecting wires for connecting a stepping motor to an external circuit can be individually inserted into the holes and which enable exposure of the ends of the connecting wires to be connected with the ends of the above windings at the openings of the fixing holes on one side. Therefore, the connecting wires as inserted can be thermally crimped and secured on the fixing portion, and thus the stepping motor which is high in strength against tensile by a harness and is of low cost can be manufactured with few man-hours of assembly.
