To enable a wire rod to be easily arrayed for winding up without raising cost regardless of the winding rate of the wire rod within this winding machine.
The variable angle displaying the relation between the winding rate of a wire rod around a bobbin 6 from a control panel 4 and the shifting position of a feeding mechanism 10 of the wire rod is inputted in a control part 2. The control part 2 adjusts the shifting timing of the shifting mechanism 9 according to the inputted variable angle so as to shift the feeding mechanism 10. Through these procedures, the slippage in the shifting timing of the feeding mechanism 10 can be avoided, thereby enabling the wire rod to be wound up around the bobbin 6 in the arrayed state without disturbing the winding at all.
