PURPOSE: To provide a method of winding a wire on a winding component making the best use of a wound space so as to lessen the wound part in size.
CONSTITUTION: A pressing jig 3 is provided in a bobbin 1 in such a manner that it is freely movable in the axial direction of the bobbin, either the pressing jig 3 or the bobbin 1 is moved to set a winding wire division E1 with a partitioning plate 3a of the pressing jig 3, a conductor W is wound on the winding wire division E1 and subjected to a process which prevents the winding wire from getting loose for the formation of a split winding L1, the above split winding process is repeatedly carried out to successively form split windings L1, L2...Ln until winding is finished for the formation of a coil L. The conductor W is formed of constant-temperature fusion wire material.
