A pull-out guide roller 17 is disposed before a bobbin 14, at a height equivalent to a winding position a of the optical cable spacer 2 and outside of a movement range 20 of a traverse 13. The spacer 2 is pulled out to the outside of a flange 14a of the bobbin 14 while being kept at the height equivalent to the winding position a just before taking up it on the bobbin 14. The spacer 2 is then wound up on the bobbin 14 while being laterally moved.
