PURPOSE: To make a delivery speed constant, by delivering a long-size work to the cooling delivery conveyor controlled of its speed by a signal detecting the speed and length of the long-size work, cooling it and, after applying a mold releasing agent to it, delivering it to a speed adjusting device.
CONSTITUTION: A long-size work W is delivered out of an extruder 10, and speed and the delivered length of the long-size work W are detected by a sensor 30. A cooling delivery conveyor 40 is driven at the speed synchronized with the detected speed, and cooling water 42 is sprayed out of a cooler 43. At end of this conveyor 40, there is provided with a water tank 44 housing a mold releasing agent Q, making the long-size work W go zigzag, and the mold releasing agent Q is applied to both sides. In succession, the long-size work W is fed to the inside of a speed adjusting device 50 slackness in the long-size work W is adjusted by limit switches LS1 and LS2 and phototubes pH1WpH3, and its speed is made constant, then it is rolled on a reel 20 on the table tilted at a fixed angle. With this constitution, the long-size work is wound up automatically at constant tension.
