Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wind a product wire on a plastic spool in neatly wound state by controlling the opening timing of a start end pressing jig for forming a foundation in the early stage of winding within a fixed range at the time of winding a wire on a spool.
SOLUTION: An empty spool 9 is set on a winder, the tip of a welding wire 10 is fed to the winder and bent by the start end hole 21 of the empty spool 9, and the winding is started. At the same time when the welding wire 10 is bent by the start end hole 21 of the empty spool 9, a start end pressing jig 30 attached to the winder presses the welding wire 10 to start the winding. The start end pressing jig 30 is formed of a wire contact roller 31 to make contact with the wire 10, a roller support stand 32, and a working cylinder 33. After the winding work is started, the welding wire 10 is pressed from the initial winding of the first layer part to the second or third winding. After the pressing is released, the winding work is continued without using the start end pressing jig 30 to wind the wire to the final product form, and the work is terminated.
