To provide a winding reel and a winding apparatus which can facilitate the automation of winding work, and can eliminate the waste of a wire rod by reducing a remaining wire volume after use.
In a reeling system 10, the winding reel 20 comprises a holding part 25 which holds the tip of the wire rod 13, and also comprises: a winding core 21 wound with the wire rod 13; a collar 26 which holds the wire rod 13 wound to the winding core 21; a positioning part 28 which decides an attachment reference position with respect to the reeling device 30; and position changing means 23, 27a and 29 which change the position of the holding part 25 with respect to the positioning part 28. Then, the winding reel 20 is rotated by the reeling device 30 so that the holding part 25 coincides with the supply position of the wire rod 13 before the supply of the wire rod, the holding part 25 is made to coincide with the position of the holding part 25 at a time when the reel 20 is attached to the attachment reference position at the finish of winding, and the rotation of the winding reel 20 is stopped.
