Title:
WINDING FOR STATIONARY INDUCTION ELECTRIC MACHINE USE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0997722
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate the deformation of a conductor due to a winding swelling, to make thin a coil thickness on the sides of at least the long sides of a square cylindrical winding and to reduce the width and weight of a core by a method wherein interlayer transition parts, which are layer-rising and layer-lowering transition parts, are positioned only on one side of the square cylindrical winding.

Interlayer transition parts, which are a layer-rising transition part and a layer-lowering transition part, are positioned only on the side of the short side 10a on one side of first and second short sides 10a and 10b opposing to each other. In such a way, all interlayer transitions are made to position only on the side of the first short side 10a of a square cylindrical winding. A winding swelling is generated only on the short-side part 10a in the radius direction of the winding, but the effect of the winding swelling can be almost ignored because this part 10a is positioned outside of a window part 12c of a core 12 and a coil, thickness tb is designed thicker than a coil thickness ta of other parts of the winding. On the other hand, as the long-side parts, which exert an effect on a core width D, of the winding have not a disarrangement windingshaped interlayer transition part and are wound into an aligned close form, the long-side parts can be formed into a thinness in an ideal state, the width D can be lessened and at the same time, the center of gravity of the core can be reduced.
