Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high output windmill for power generation, by collecting the wind, and amplifying the wind pressure and the flow velocity. SOLUTION: A truncated cone-shaped frame 1 is pivotted on an windmill pole 4, like a wind cone, and a blade 8 of the windmill is arranged near an upper bottom 5. When the truncated cone-shaped frame 1 pivotted on the pole 4, receives the wind, the blade 8 keeps its attitude in a direction of the wind with the principle same as that of the wind cone. A hood 12 collects the wind of an area several times as much as that of the blade, and the wind of the amplified flow velocity, is escaped from an outlet of the narrowed truncated cone-shaped upper bottom. The negative pressure is acted on a rear part of the blade 8, whereby the torque of the rotation is amplified. The weight of the windmill is balanced by a blancer 15, and the windmill can be moved in a vertical direction by the manual operation or by a compact motor.
