Abstract:

To prevent deterioration of communication quality by avoiding activation of RLC reset processing in a transmitting-side apparatus in the case that a MAC sublayer does not perform order correction processing on a received STATUS-PDU.

In a retransmission control method, a transmitting-side apparatus manages an acknowledgement information receiving window. If a sequence number of a packet included in acknowledgement information received from a receiving-side apparatus is a value out of the range of the acknowledgement information receiving window based on the acknowledgement information relating to the sequence number, the transmitting-side apparatus does not perform window control processing and retransmission control processing of the packet.
