Abstract:

PURPOSE: To imprve safety and comfortableness in driving by laying an intermediate film between two glass plates, maintaining the glass plates in a given temperature range, bonding and laminating under controlling.

CONSTITUTION: (a) A polyvinyl butyral film having 10-40 mil thickness, (b) a vinyl chloride-based resin film having 10-60 mil thickness or (c) an intermediate film having 10-60 mil thickness obtained by setting the vinyl chloride-based resin film between two sheets of the polyvinyl butyral films is laid between two transparent glass plates such as inorganic substance having 1.8-3.0mm thickness to give a safety glass. Then the glass plates are heated and controlled so as to maintain the intermediate film at 10-50°C, bonded and laminated to produce window glass for automobile.
