A window cleaning wiper is formed out of a wiping part made of an elastomer material, for example, a rubber 1 to wipe glass surface, and a mandrel 2 to apply suitable rigidity to the rubber 1, and a handle part 3 suitable to be manually grasped. Also, the wiping part is molded with the mandrel 2 inserted in the rubber 1, thereby preventing a metallic part from being exposed from the wiping part. According to this construction, a concern about scratches on glass surface, a sash or the like is completely eliminated, and the rigidity of the wiping part is increased. An irregular wiping work due to deflection can be thereby prevented and a work time can be shortened.
