Abstract:
To provide a window installing method capable of shortening a construction period for installing a window on a building.SOLUTION: A window installing method comprises: an assembling step of assembling a window frame 4; a window frame installing step of installing the window frame 4 to an opening 1a of a building 1; and a fitting step of fitting glass shoji 5 into the window frame 4 installed to the opening 1a. The assembling step includes: a supporting step of supporting a first horizontal frame 11 by a support member 46 projecting from at least one of a first support 41 and a first handrail 44 of a scaffold structure 2 installed around the building 1 toward the building 1; a vertical frame installing step of installing vertical frames 13, 14 to the first horizontal frame 11 supported by the support member 46; and a horizontal frame installing step of installing the second horizontal frame 15 to the vertical frames 13, 14 installed on the first horizontal frame 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
