Abstract:
To provide a window sensor for a vehicle surely detecting approach of a person to the window of the vehicle.
The window sensor for the vehicle is equipped with an electric capacitance detection circuit for detecting the change of the electric capacitance between a transparent or linear sensor electrode installed on the window glass of the vehicle and a vehicle body. The sensor electrode is installed on a glass surface or an inner layer of a laminated glass, and can be in a grid shape or a striped shape. In addition, the electrode can be installed in a state hiding with a weather strip of the lower part of the window, and can also use an electrically heated wire provided on the window glass or a TV antenna in common.
