A hanging wall 6 is hung from a ceiling surface 4, a window frame 2 and paper sliding doors 3 are provided below the hanging wall 6, and a ceiling beam 5 is provided on an interior side B and at a position apart from the hanging wall 6. A member constituting an upper edge of the window frame 2 (i.e. an upper frame 2a) and members constituting upper edges of the paper sliding doors 3 (i.e. upper frames 3a) are placed at positions substantially higher than a lower surface 5a of the ceiling beam 5. Consequently, the upper frame 2a and the upper frames 3a are at positions higher than when the window frame 2 and the paper sliding doors 3 are arranged in a space below the ceiling beam 5 so as to increase the height dimension of glass parts (transparent panel members) 3e of the paper sliding doors 3. Consequently, a view from the room can be made better.
