PURPOSE: To provide a windowpane cleaning device excellent in safety, by which both the internal and external planes of a windowpane can be cleaned simultaneously from the inside of a window, and work to wipe separately the external plane side and internal plane side of the windowpane is unrequired, and a cleaning cost can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with an internal plane wiping tool 4 on the end face of which a wiping member to abut on a windowpane plane is provided, an external plane wiping tool 5 on the end face of which the wiping member to abut on the windowpane plane is provided, and a wiping tool linking means which supports linkingly the internal plane wiping tool 4 and the exteranl plane wiping tool 5 while bringing them into close contant with the internal plane 2a and the external plane 2b of the windowpane 2, respectivly in a confronting state. By employing such constitution, it is possible to dispense with the work to wipe the external plane 2b side of the windowpane separately from that of the internal plane 2a side and to clean both the internal and external planes of the windowpane simultaneously from the inside of the window, which reduces cleaning expenses, and also, a danger such as an accident resulting in injury or death can be eliminated, thus safety is remarkably improved.
