To make a windscreen assembly easily and rapidly detachable from a baby carriage by providing the windscreen assembly with two foldable side panel members composed of loops positioned at both side parts of the baby carriage, and providing a cover at the peripheral edges of the loops.

This windscreen assembly 1 fitted to a baby carriage 2 has a left panel member 3 fitted to the left side of the baby carriage 2, and a right panel member 4 fitted to the right side of the baby carriage 2. Loop members 3a, 4a are fixed to the top ends of the panel members 3, 4, and loop members 3b, 4b are fixed to the tip parts of the panel members 3, 4 respectively by sewing or with an adhesive. A cover member 5 formed of an expansive sheet or web material is put over the top part and front part of the baby carriage 5 along the respective loop members 3a, 4a and 3b, 4b.
