To provide a new windshield cover of an automobile, which is easily attached to and detached from the automobile, and which is never stolen.

A cover body 2, which covers a windshield 9 of the automobile 8 and has heat insulating properties, can be folded in its width direction, and both ends of a string object 6 which is sufficiently longer than a distance between an upper part and a lower part of both end parts of the cover body 2, are tied up on both the upper part and the lower part. A suction cup 7 is attached to the string object 6 to slide. Since the windshield cover is easily attachable and detachable and also has the suction cup, the windshield cover cannot be detached without opening a door, and thereby, is never stolen.
