To obtain a wine cellar which enables preparation of wine intended for drinking without cooling it each time in a refrigerator or the like, lessens the need to supply water to a humidifying means for keeping humidity optimum and can prevent deterioration of the quality of wine even in the case of staying away from home for a long time, in regard to the wine cellar keeping the wine at the temperature and humidity suitable for preservation.
A plurality of preserving chambers A1 and A2 enabling control of temperature to be different by a cooling unit are provided in one wine cellar. A humidifying means (evaporation tray) 2 for regulating humidity is provided at least in one chamber A2 out of the preserving chambers in a plurality, and a condensate generated by the cooling unit is supplied to the evaporation tray as the humidifying means. According to this constitution, troublesome preparation in a refrigerator or the like prior to drinking is dispensed with by controlling the temperature of one preserving chamber to be suitable for drinking at an expected time of drinking, for instance.
