The wine opener comprises an outer cylinder 2, a cylinder storage tube 3 fitted within the outer cylinder 2, an inner cylinder 4 arranged slidably between the outer cylinder 2 and the cylinder storage tube 3, a lid body 5 screwed to the upper end of the outer cylinder 2, a push button 6 made of an elastic material provided to the lid body 5, a cork plug storage part 4c formed at the lower part of the inner cylinder 4, a hollow needle 8 arranged at the bottom end of the cylinder storage tube 3, an air discharge hole 8a formed at the tip end of the hollow needle 8 and an air cylinder 9 stored within the cylinder storage tube 3. The tip end of the air cylinder 9 and the hollow needle 8 are connected with each other via a check valve 10.
