Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a cleaner go on without getting damaged by objectives on the floor such as tall projections and enable it to keep an operational state after touching them by providing it with a reversal rotative flap put into a specific middle bracket.
CONSTITUTION: A bracket 32 as well as an assembly of flap 30 is placed in gaps of the edge wall 28 of a brush housing by means of two spacers around a U-shaped pin 40 in which the spacers are surrounded with twisting spring plates 48. Inner legs 49 of these springs 48 are held with tabs 51 extending out of the ears 38 of the bracket 32 on one hand while the outer edges 50 of the springs 48 are held with tabs 53 extending out of the edge wall 28 of the brush housing on the other hand. Preloading of the springs 48 is to cause a counterclockwise force around the U-shaped pin 40, which would keep the bracket 32 in contact with the rear wall 26 of the brush housing. The bracket 30 is bent down 90-degrees from its center, which would rotate the spring 48 clockwise when a sweeper is brought into contact with a projection on the floor on moving forward.
