Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the traveling resistance by forming a space part between the first panel member which holds a front window shield and the second panel member arranged in front of the first panel member and accommodating a wiper in the space part, thus improving the outside appearance of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The lower edge part of a front window shield 4 of a cab-over type vehicle 2 is fixed onto the upper edge part of an inside panel 6 fixed onto a chassis frame 8. A grille member 12 is arranged at the position opposed to the inside panel 6, keeping a radiator 10 interposed. The lower edge part of an outside panel 20 is fixed onto the upper edge part of the grille member 12, opposed and keeping a prescribed distance from the inside panel 6, and a space part 24 is formed from the inside panel 6. A reinforcing member 26 having a U-shaped section is installed into the space part 24, and a wiper 30 is accommodated into the space part above the reinforcing member 26. The wiper 30 is operated through a link rod 46, etc. by the drive of a motor 38.
