Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pantograph type wiper arm which standardizes a connecting structure for a driven shaft of a sub arm both in lock-back specifications and in lock-backless specifications and which is easily connected with the driven shaft of the sub arm.SOLUTION: The wiper arm includes a main arm having a base end rotatably connected integrally with a drive shaft, and a sub arm 9 having a base end connected to a driven shaft 26 positioned near the drive shaft. The sub arm 9 includes: a sub-arm head 21 in which an inserting part 25b, into which an end shaft portion 26c projecting toward an end of the driven shaft 26 from an engagement part 25a into which a spherical connecting part 26b which is shaped like a spherical body and is provided on the end of the driven shaft 26 is engaged and the spherical connecting part 26b, is formed and a ball retainer 25 rotating around a center axis line L5 of the end shaft portion 26c is provided on the base end; and a sub-retainer 22 rotatably connected to the end of the sub-arm head 21 and rotating from a wiping posture position to a standing posture position relative to the sub-arm head 21.
