PURPOSE: To sharply reduce an adverse effect of wind pressure, by narrowing the size of clearance between a ribbon holder fitted with a rubber ribbon and a stay.

CONSTITUTION: In and around both sections A-A and B-B, substay 5a is made to come into almost nearly contact with a ribbon holder 2, and clearance size is set down to a very close approximation to zero. In and around a section C-C, a clearance t is set in space between a main stay 5b and a rubber ribbon 1 but this size t is set to be a very little extent. Therefore, even if a wind is blown up with the running of a car, the wind is almost not blown into an inner surface of the substay 5a or the main stay 5b so that such directional force as setting a wiper blade afloat off a windshield will almost not work there.
