Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent osone crack of rubber, by a method wherein the base material of a wiper blade rubber is formed by pliable rubber consisting of mainly of ethylene propylene rubber, and a surface positioned facing the base part of a swing part is formed with a skin on which chlorine treatment is applied. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1, by which a most of a wiper blade is formed, is formed by pliable rubber consisting mainly of vulcanized ehtylene propylene rubber, A skin layer, on which chlorine treatment is applied, is formed to either a surface 31, positioned facing the base part of a swing part 3 of wiper blade rubber, or a surface 41 positioned facing the swing part of the base part. This constitution enables prevention of adhesion between the base part and the swing part during non-use of a wiper, and permits prevention of osone crack of rubber since the base material consists mainly of ethylene propylene.
