PURPOSE: To provide a wiper blade which wipes off objects attached to a surface to be wiped, performs a water repellency treatment to keep objects from attaching to the surface so that the cleanliness and transparency, etc., of the surface to be wiped can be maintained for a long time and that the frequency of wiping can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION: In a wiper blade 1 having a blade portion 14 for wiping a surface 5 to be wiped, at least the blade portion 14 disperses a water repelling agent evenly inside a viper blade main body 10 made from a porous soft material having continuous pores 15, or a water repelling agent retaining chamber 16 is formed to retain the water repelling agent 17 and the agent is leached through the continuous pores 15 to subject the surface 5 to be wiped to a water repellency treatment.
