Title:
WIPER BRACKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3205293
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the effect with respect to a vehicle body connection fixing portion of a window glass even supposing the vehicle were in a collision, and to enable the realization of this at a low cost by making the structure simple.
SOLUTION: In wiper brackets 10, 40, a notch 32 is formed in fixing hole through which a fixing bolt 26 is inserted. This fixing hole has a larger diameter than other fixing holes. The notch 32 is cut out facing toward a window glass 22. When a large load is applied and the suspension tower 30 deforms, the fixing bolt 26 inserted through the large diameter hole is allowed to move relatively along the notch 32 and separate from the wiper brackets 10, 40. As a result, a large external force is not applied to a cowl panel 24 to which the wiper brackets 10, 40 are fixed. This therefore eliminates the fear of breakage of the connection fixing portion of the window glass 22 and the cowl panel 24.
