Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wiper attaching and detaching work by overlapping a pressing plate on top of a base plate provided with an U shape curved folded-back part having a rotation means fitted on its inside, engaging the pressing plate with an embracing means having a pressure plate on its end, and providing an elastic lever on the rear end of the pressing plate.
SOLUTION: The rear end of a pressing plate 14 is made an elastic lever 14a by having a base plate 12 provided with an U shape curved folded-back part 13 embraced by an embracing means 15 and an arm inserted into the embracing means 15 from the rear sandwiched between the base plate 12 by the pressing plate 14. The base plate 12 and the pressing plate 14 are embraced by a pressure plate 16 of the embracing means 15 and this side of the U shape curved part 13 of the base plate 12 is pressed. A protrusion 17a on the tip of the pressing plate 12 is fitted into an engagement hole on the top surface of the base plate 12 and an engagement piece 18a and a bent piece 19a provided on both sides of the embracing means 15 are fitted into the cutout recesses. A lock hole 1b on the pressing plate 14 is engaged with a protrusion on the end of the arm. An engagement hole 23 on a rotation means 21 fitted to the inside of the curved folded-back part 13 is then journalled to a pin on a wiper supporting part 31. Thus maintenance and the like are carried out by facilely attaching and detaching the wiper.
