To reduce the number of part items to be assembled in a car body and assembling man-hours by improving work efficiency when fitting a wiper device to a vehicle body from the outside of the vehicle.

The back door device 10 is provided with a back door panel 11, a rear spoiler 20 and a wiper mechanism 30. The wiper mechanism 30 is provided with a wiper motor device 31 arranged in a recessed part 13 formed in the back door panel 11 outside the vehicle, a wiper arm 37 and a wiper blade 38. An upper end of a rear window glass 17 is extended onto the recessed part 13, and formed with a recessed notch part 17c. The wiper motor device 31 is unified by housing the wiper motor 32 or the like in a bottomed box-like hollow base member 33. A side surface of the base member 33 is formed with a groove 36a as a glass holding part, and the glass end part of the notch 27c is put in the groove 36a to fix the wiper mechanism 30 to the upper end of the glass 17.
