Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate wipe-out angle changing operation by controlling a wiper motor to be stopped on detecting that a slider useful for changing a wipe-out oscillating angle of a wiper arm and the wiper arm reach a position which enables oscillating angle changing operation. CONSTITUTION:In a wiper device where the radius of gyration of a link 14, that is, an oscillating angle of a wiper arm is changed to be large or small in two stages, by sliding a slider 34 to alternatively engage an engaging notch 42 on a crank arm 12 side with an engaging member 41 on the link 14 side, two frictional sliding electric plates 51, 52 are disposed in an electric circuit 50 of a wiper motor 10, and an ON-OFF changeover switch 53 and two couplers 54, 55 are provided. At the time of changing a wipe-out oscillating angle, the changeover switch 53 is turned off, the first coupler 54 is connected to a driving portion 29 side to operate a wiper motor 10, and the wiper motor 10 is stopped when a contact point 67 corresponds to a projecting portion 63 to locate the above three members 12, 14, 34 at designated positions which enable changing operation.
