This wiper device 1 comprises a clip base 6 detachably fitted to a wiper arm 4, a holder 7 fitted to the clip base 6, a lever portion 8 turnably supported by the holder 7 along the extending direction of a blade rubber 2, and a plate spring 12 for energizing the lever portion 8 to a face 5 to be wiped by the blade rubber 2 relative to the clip base 6. Two divided bodies 74 and 75 formed by dividing a main body 71 along the extending direction of the blade rubber 2 are respectively provided with groove parts 74d and 75d formed of intermediate projecting wall parts 74b and 75b and lower projecting wall parts 74c and 75c. Cross directional ends 12b of the plate spring 12 in a central part in the longitudinal direction thereof are respectively housed in the groove parts 74d and 75d, and upper projecting wall parts 74i and 75i are provided over the groove parts 74d and 75d, and the clip base 6 is fitted to the upper projecting wall parts 74i and 75i.
