Title:
WIPER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3865537
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device which can eliminate a difference in wiping range due to the difference in inertia force between a low speed mode and a high speed mode, and smoothly and accurately switch the operation mode and perform the auto stop control at the time of stopping.
SOLUTION: By a motor driving circuit 11 having mainly four relays L1 to L4 and two transistors TR1, TR2, in a low speed mode, an electric current directing from a low brush terminal 3a of a wiper motor 3 to a common brush terminal 3c is supplied to rotate the wiper motor 3 at a low speed, and on the other hand, in a high speed mode, an electric current directing from the common brush terminal 3c to a high brush terminal 3b is supplied to reverse the wiper motor 3 at a high speed. During low speed rotation, an eccentric metal connecting a motor arm and a link connecting rod is held in such a position as to increase the length of the motor arm, and during high speed reversion, it is held in such a position as to make the length of the motor arm shorter than that in the low speed normal rotation.
