Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of preventing reverse swinging of a wiper blade even when the wiper blade overruns a predetermined position on a window shield glass, the position where the wiper blade is to stop or reverse.SOLUTION: Rotation of a wiper motor 18 is controlled so that wiper blades 28 and 30 are stopped at a retract position P3 when a sensor signal angle being an angle of rotation of an output shaft 32 of the wiper motor 18, the angle detected by a sensor, is at a predetermined angle that is a lower-limit value within a detection range of the sensor 54 and 0 degrees or more, and so that the wiper blades 28 and 30 are reversed at an upper reverse position P1 when a sensor signal angle detected by the sensor 54 is at a predetermined angle that is an upper-limit value within the detection range of the sensor 54 and is 180 degrees or less. Further, the predetermined angle, the angle that is the lower limit value within the detection range of the sensor 54 and 0 degrees or more, is set so that the angle of rotation of the wiper motor 18 detected by the sensor 54 is at the lower-limit value within the detection range even when the wiper blade passes the retract position P3.
