Abstract:
PURPOSE:To heat and melt the snow and invariably secure a wide visual field by energizing a heater section while maintaining the operation of a wiper motor when the snow fall is increased and the current flowing through a wiper motor becomes a predetermined value or higher. CONSTITUTION:To operate a wiper device, a wiper switch 27 is turned on. In this case, when the snow fall is little and the wiper is operated smoothly, the current flowing through a coil 22 is little, and a reed switch 21 is kept open. Therefore, no current flows through a PTC heater 26. On the other hand, when the snow fall is increased and the wiping angle of the wiper is narrowed due to the snow, a current larger than normal flows through a wiper motor 25. Then, the read switch 21 is energized by the coil 22, a coil 28 energizes a movable terminal S1 to the stationary terminal S2 side, and the current from a power supply 20 is fed to the PTC heater 26. Accordingly, the PTC heater is heated and can melt the snow.
