An engagement retaining part 70 provided on a mounting vertical wall surface 22A side of a dash panel 22 is an opening part 70A with its inside in the vehicle width direction opened for enabling a projection 64 on the wiper operating mechanism 48 side to be inserted therein. The insertion of the projection 64 retains the wiper operating mechanism 48. A mounting surface 76 of a bracket 74 on a suspension tower 20 is arranged with its surface approximately vertical to the mounting vertical wall surface 22A of the dash panel 22 to be the surface direction. One of mounting points on the wiper operating mechanism 48 side is set on the mounting surface 76.
