Abstract:

To prevent the occurrence of noise when a wiper is inverted by floating a wiper blade from a window with lugs integrally provided on the window when the wiper reaches an inversion position.

Ride-over sections 10b with no lip 10a are provided at both end sections of a wiper blade 10, both ride-over sections 10b ride over the lugs 11L of a window M1 when a wiper W1 reaches an inversion position, thereby the lip 10a is slightly floated from the window M1. When a wiper arm is rotated by a fixed angle after the wiper W1 is inverted, the ride-over sections 10b are released from the lugs 11L, and the lip 10a is again pressed to the window M1 by proper pressing force to wipe the window M1 in the pressed state via the rotation of the wiper arm. When the wiper W1 reaches an inversion position on the opposite side, both ride-over sections 10b again ride over the lugs 11L on the opposite side, and the lip 10a is slightly floated from the window M1.
