Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper system capable of achieving wiping operation suitable for a vehicle without individual design for every kind of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A wiper system 1 comprises: wiper blades 5a, 5b for performing a reciprocating wiping operation on a windshield glass 6; and brushless motors 2a, 2b for making the wiper blades 5a, 5b perform the reciprocating wiping operation. As the brushless motors 2a, 2b, a motor having a rotation axis for moving the wiper blades 5a, 5b by reciprocating movement, and having operation freedom degree in three-axis directions capable of rotating around the rotation axis and respective axes of two directions orthogonal to the rotation axis, is used. On a windshield glass 6 side of the wiper blades 5a, 5b, sensors 21p, 21q for detecting a distance between the wiper blades 5a, 5b and the windshield glass 6, are disposed. Controllers 18a, 18b control heights and inclinations of the wiper blades 5a, 5b based on output signals of the sensors 21p, 21q.
