Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the wiper structure simple and reduce the trouble rate, by installing a wiper arm slidable laterally around a single fulcrum, and installing a wiper blade to the wiper arm to slide together with the arm. CONSTITUTION:A single wiper arm 7 is made slidable laterally around a single fulcrum O. To the wiper arm 7 is installed a wiper blade 8 slidable together with the wiper arm 7. In such a structure, when the arm 7 slides to the left, the distance d1 between the blade 8 and the fulcrum O is shortest, and when the arm 7 slides to the right end, the distance d2 between the blade 8 and the fulcrum O is the largest. Therefore, the wiping area by the single wiper is oblong as if two wipers act to wipe, to cover an oblong field of vision sufficiently.
