PURPOSE: To prevent contaminant from remaining on the outside of a preceding squeegee and to improve cleanly wiping efficiency by arranging the preceding squeegee of a cleanly wiping head while it is held by a specified gap to the face to be wiped.
CONSTITUTION: A cleaning liq. is fed into a cleaning room 6 surrounded by a preceding squeegee 4 and a succeeding squeegee 5 both with a skirt-like shape provided before and behind a cleanly wiping head 1 in parallel through a cleaning liq. pipe 7, and a cleaning liq. spray 7B is applied on a dirty glass face Y as a face to be cleanly wiped from a cleaning liq. nozzle 7A. The cleaning liq. having been stood between brushes 8 or the succeeding squeegee 5 and the preceding squeegee 4 is sucked and discharged through a sucking and discharging pipe 11 the lower end part of which is a trumpet-like discharging pipe 11A. In this case, the preceding squeegee 4 is arranged so as to keep a gap of 0.1-5.0mm to the face to be cleanly wiped C. It is pref. therefore that the specified gap is kept by a supporting arm 3 with an air cylinder for pressing and supporting a frame 2 and a stopper being brought into contact with the surface C of an article to be cleaned through a roller made of a hard elastic body.
