Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To summarize mandays and processes by shortening welding time at the time of manufacturing a wheel for a vehicle by welding a plural number of parts.
SOLUTION: Distortion removing machining after welding and deflection correction are abolished by positioning and fixing each part of a boss 2, a hub 3, a spoke 4 and a rim 5 molded in a completed state by making it in a completed shape on a set jig 6, laser-welding a joint part of the boss 2 and the hub 3 and a joint part of the hub 3 and the spoke 4 by irradiating a laser beam from a single direction roughly in parallel with the wheel axial direction and laser-welding a joint part of the spoke 4 and the rim 5 by irradiating a laser beam from a direction roughly in parallel or roughly orthogonal with the wheel axial direction.
