Abstract:
Provided is a wiping sheet that comprises a nonwoven fabric containing two kinds of cellulose fiber, and an impregnation liquid that is impregnated within the nonwoven fabric and contains water and ethanol, wherein the number of convexities and concavities of at least 40 µm, as measured by a surface test during wetting under pressure according to the KFX method, is in the range of 10–30, and the basis weight of the nonwoven fabric is 30–100 g/m2. When the wiping sheet is impregnated with a relatively high concentration of a lower alcohol, the wiping sheet exhibits a good liquid-retaining property and has an improved scrubbing feel and tension/springiness.
