Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that poor washing of a wiping roller is caused because ink dispersion concentration in a wiping solvent becomes high in a conventional immersion type of wiping equipment for intaglio printing; and surplus intaglio ink accumulated on a nylon brush is not completely washed away because only the insufficient fluid volume of the wiping solvent is supplied to a nylon brush unit, in a conventional laminar-flow injection type of equipment.SOLUTION: In the present invention, a wiping solvent is sprayed on a circumferential surface of a wiping roller from a first laminar-flow device. Surplus intaglio ink is removed by a pre-brush and a main brush. The wiping solvent is jetted like a waterfall toward a nylon brush on the pre-brush and the main brush from a second laminar-flow device that is installed in the rear in a wiping roller rotation direction. Thus, the nylon brush is reliably washed, and the surplus intaglio ink on the wiping roller is reliably removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
