Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cable having high durability and sliding property.SOLUTION: A wire cable 1 includes a core wire 2 and a plurality of lateral wires 3 twisted to each other around the core wire 2. Therein, at least one of the plurality of lateral wires 3 has a resin layer 4 on the outer circumference thereof. It is suppressed that the lateral wires are rubbed to each other or the lateral wire and the core wire are rubbed to each other, and internal disconnection of the wire cable is effectively prevented. Further, when the wire cable is inserted into a conduit tube and is used therein, the resin layer arranged on the surface of the lateral wire exhibits an action which reduces a sliding resistance with an internal surface of the conduit tube and, therefore, high sliding property can be provided.
