Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coating removal unit and a wire harness manufacturing method which can facilitate induction of a terminal of a wire W to an insertion port through which the wire W is inserted toward a cutter for removing an insulation coating of the terminal of the wire W and enable easy insertion of the wire W through a rubber plug.SOLUTION: A wire coating removal unit includes: a wire coating removal part 10 that has an insertion port 12 through which a terminal W1 of the wire W is inserted toward a cutter 11 for removing an insulation coating W2 of the terminal W1 of the wire W, and automatically removes the insulation coating W2 of the terminal W1, inserted into the insertion port 12, by the cutter 11; and a rubber plug arrangement part 40 that arranges a rubber plug C, through which the wire W is inserted, at a wire insertion position 41b facing the insertion port 12 and allowing insertion of the wire W into the insertion port 12 while inserting it through an insertion hole C1 of the rubber plug C, and holds the wire W with the wire W directed to the insertion port 12 by the rubber plug C, by the insertion of the wire W into the insertion port 12 while inserting it through the insertion hole C1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
