Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent, using simple constitution, fuming and firing resulting from the degradation and gasification of resin when heat is generated.
CONSTITUTION: This wire connecting device has an electric conductor 1 which has a wire holding mechanism 4 for holding wire 3 and makes contact with the wire 3; and an insulator 2 made of a resin for holding the electric conductor 1. A heat-insulating space portion 10 for reducing heat transfer from the wire holding mechanism 4 to the resin insulator 2 is formed on the surface 9 of contact of the resin insulator 2 with the wire holding mechanism 4.
