Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a wire cut electric discharge machine capable of duplicating motions required for suspension work of a wire electrode and shortening suspension time.

CONSTITUTION: When a wire electrode 8 is cut off by electrical feeders 37, 38 at a cut-off position where change-direction-table 25 is moved in the direction of a collecting box 53, the change-direction-table 25 is moved to an initial position in the direction of a guide body 54. In this movement process, the wire electrode 8 sandwiched by a delivery roller 28 and a first pinch roller 30 is delivered in the direction of a processed article, and even after it is moved to the initial position, delivery of the wire electrode 8 is continued as it is and it is shifted to automatic suspension work of the wire electrode 8.
