To replace smoothly a wire drum with a reel around which a wire rope for stretching a power cable in transmission line overhead wiring work is wound.

This wire drum frame for stretching a power cable supports two wire drums 1, 1 in parallel, wherein the front wire drum 1 is pulled out from upwards in the pulling-out direction of a wire rope, and the rear wire drum 2 is pulled out through under the front wire drum 1 from downwards for charging of the front wire drum 1, thus it is possible to eliminate the rear wire rope passing through above it from having some interference.
