Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machine with a wire electrode to be kept perpendicular to a table surface onto which a workpiece for the wire electric discharge machine is placed and fixed, and its control method.
SOLUTION: A pitching error range at a table measurement position measured by table position measuring means is extracted from pitching error range storage means for storing a plurality of pitching error ranges meaning the inclinations of the table 22 of the wire electric discharge machine 20 to a horizontal, the displacement of an upper wire guide 26 for keeping the wire electrode 28 perpendicular to the table surface is calculated in accordance with the pitching error range, and the upper wire guide 26 and the table 22 are displaced in accordance with the calculated displacement.
