Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably feed, to prevent breaking and short circuiting of welding arc and to stably maintain welding arc so as to reduce welding defect and improve welding efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A copper ion concentration of the surface deposition of a wire for gas shield arc welding is controlled to ≤5000ppm, an iron ion concentration is controlled to ≤500ppm. Further, the wire for gas shield arc welding has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.001-0.15% C, 0.30-1.10% Si, 0.85-2.6% Mn, 0.001-0.030% P, 0.01-0.030% S, 0.01-0.50% Cu and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
